Today I looked at my calendar which had Martha's name written on it, and I was reminded of the many times over the past 14 years that my calendar had her name written there to remind me of some outing she had planned for us. She was the first person I got to know at First Presbyterian Church, and she made sure I got acquainted and involved! Since both my husband's family and mine had roots in middle Tennessee, we had lots of common ties. She was a generous, loving friend whose laughter still rings in my heart. I know how much you, her family, meant to her and how much you will miss her. May you be comforted by the memories and love you share.
