I am so sorry for your loss. Although I never met her, I feel like I know her son Jack McCall from all the wonderful stories he shared with us in his weekly column at the Macon County Times. I always felt better after reading one of Jack's stories about him and his brothers growing up in the country, working on the farm, and the lessons he and his brothers learned. Those stories take us back to a time when we valued hard work and craftsmanship, our neighbors were like our family, and we always put God first in our lives and thanked Him daily for all our blessings. My friends and I miss seeing Mr. McCall's stories in the newspaper and hope he will return one day.

Very sorry to hear of the death of my cousin, Mary Helen. She was a lovely lady who always had a ready smile for everyone. She left a great legacy.
