BRATTON, SR., Maurice EdwardAge 90. June 3, 1920 - December 31, 2010. Preceded in death by wife, Patsy Jean and daughter, Cinda Lou Hearn. Survived by children, Maurice E. Bratton, Jr., Sam Bratton, Sally B. Wall, Ken Bratton; sons-in-law, Robert Hearn and Gary Wall; grandchildren, Patrisha Walter, Robert Hearn III, Trent Hearn, Lauren Travis, Sam Wall, Justin Bratton, Connor Bratton and Kayla Bratton; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Bratton, Jenya Bratton, Logan Bratton and Justin Bratton, Jr. A 1937 graduate of West High School, World War II Army Veteran, and a partner of Clarke-Bratton Food Brokerage. Mr. Bratton was a lifetime member of the Shriners, Elks Club, founding member of the Brentwood Country Club and an avid golf and tennis player. Throughout life, he always put others in front of himself. A Loving husband and father, he will always be remembered as one tough son of a gun who never knew a stranger. Services will be held at Forest Hills United Methodist Church at 2 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2011. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice. My family has such fond memories of the Brattons when we were neighbors in Pleasant Valley. I remember my Dad telling such funny stories about Maurice. I know you all will have many memories to substain you.
