Michael Szilagyi Obituary
Franklin - Michael Joseph Szilagyi, age 56 of Franklin, TN passed away October 23, 2017 in Destin, FL. Veteran of the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division where he honorably served in Grenada. Mike worked side by side with his Dad in residential construction, and for many years in commercial construction. He was involved in numerous non-profit organizations including Habitat for Humanity locally and internationally and Light Up The World. Survived by: parents, Michael and Lois Burton Silagi; sister, Lisa Mae Szilagyi Judd; niece, Angela Marie Kutchera; nephews, Christopher Michael Judd and Nicholas Andrew Judd; beloved partner of 22 years, Katherine Kelly O'Connor all of Franklin, TN and other loving family members. Visitation will be 5-8PM Saturday at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Sunday, October 29, 2017 with visitation one hour prior to the service at Franklin First United Methodist Church Historic Sanctuary, Dr. Lynn Hill officiating. Interment in Williamson Memorial Gardens with veteran military honors. Family and friends will serve as active and honorary pallbearers including Fellow Veteran Buddies.
