Patsy S. Bratton

BRATTON, Patsy S.Age 82 of Nashville, passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on February 7, 2009. Pat was an avid swimmer who loved the ocean. She also collected shells and interesting rocks, which she turned into decorative art. Most of all, she was a devoted mother, grandmother and wife, and a true matriarch of the family. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Maurice E. Bratton, Sr.; 4 loving children, Maurice E. Bratton, Jr., Sam C. Bratton, Sally B. Wall and Kenneth D. Bratton; and 2 brothers, Dr. Harry Pierce and Walter Pierce of Seattle, WA; 8 adoring grandchildren, Patricia Walters, Trey Hearn & Trent Hearn of Atlanta, GA, Justin Bratton, Connor Bratton and Kayla Bratton of Phoenix AZ, Lauren Travis and Sam Wall of Nashville, TN; 2 great grandchildren, Jenya and Justin Bratton of Phoenix, AZ and preceded in death in 2007 by her oldest daughter, Cinda B. Hearn. Pat was also a member of Forest Hills Methodist Church and before retirement, an RN Nurse for over 25 years at the Veterans Hospital Nashville, TN.
