Bro. McCall was one of the greatest spiritual influences in my life. Because of his wise counsel, I entered the ministry as a 16-year old lad. Since that time, I served as a pastor for 28 years, an evangelist for 15 years and am now the president of a seminary. And only now in heaven will Bro. McCall fully know the impact that he had on countless lives he never met because he took the time to help a confused and sickly teenage boy get God's direction for his life. May God bless his precious wife and family as they mourn his passing but expect his eternal open arms of welcome one glad day.

I have fond memories of the time that Ray McCall was pastor of River Road Baptist Church. His daughter, Carol, and I accepted Christ as our Saviour on the same day. I have often wondered what happened to that wonderful family and my love and prayers go out to them during this time of loss.
