Reggie was a great inspiration to me when I first started my own business. I would run into him at Piggly Wiggly and if I saw him at Dee's. He told me what to anticipate and that a small business has many struggles but you wake up every day and keep trying even though times are hard. I live across from Dee's an as I sit on my deck every morning drinking my coffee I looked over to see Reggie showing up for work an beginning his day. He was always determined and consistent in his tasks. Though he moved slow, he continued to move through the task he needed to accomplish. My mornings now seem different as I look across the street now. I may not see him physically but I still see what he was trying to accomplish. He never gave up!! May he rest in piece and may his family continue to work the dream Reggie had for himself and his family.

Dear Tracey and Dee,
I was so sorry to hear about your loss. I always enjoyed hearing the love in your voice when you talked about Reggie and Dee. The strength you possessed while going through all the difficulties in the last year is awe inspiring. I wish I had a magic saying or magic pill you could take to take the pain away. Reach out to those around you and know that you are cherished by many people. You are now part of a special group of people in this world. A group no one wishes to be part of. I think about you everyday. Tracey#1. Big hugsssssss!!!!!!This is one instance where the virtual world seems so far away.

Tracy and Dee, I am so sorry to hear about your loss of a very special person. I met Reggie at Prince's Hot chicken (Chicken Shack) a few years ago. He was such a pleasant and joyous person. Very positive attitude no matter what the situation was. I truly adored his kindness and his laughter. My prayers are with you during this tough time and I pray your strength as the days go by to trust in the Lord. We will miss his ribs at the "Chicken Shack" gatherings.

I met Reggie on TSU's farm, I always kept in touch loosely. When I married in 1986 he helped me and my new wife move. HE was always wonderful. We are shocked and saddened, but know he is with the Lord.

Aunt Tracey and my sister Dee. I'm sorry that this has happened. You know that he will be greatly loved and missed. It has been hard on everyone that knew him. He was the type of person who got along with everbody. He had a good sense of humor and that will always stick around. I remember when we 1st met. We all went to the movies and Dee and I were supposed to be talking in the back seat of the van but instead we were in your conversation. Since then we have been through so much together and we will always be there for each other. I just want you to know that he is in a better place now and we will keep you in our prayers. Love always Michelle. ( The white niece ) and remember "THE CHARCOL IS FOR THE HEAT AND THE HICKORY WOOD IS FOR THE FLAVOR." Uncle Reggie.
