What an incredible woman, mentor, trailblazer, and example of Gods love! It has been a blessing to me and my family to have her in our lives. God bless my neighbor and Girl Scout leader of the largest black group in Nashville. I am so grateful! Our deepest sympathy to the family.

Mrs. Davis was and will always be a cherished icon, a respected and loved woman, friend, and mother of her family as well as of Bronte ,friend and of God. We will miss your voice, smile and hugs. Let us not forget your off the hook and unmatched banana pudding ,lol.
We will miss seeing your son take you for your ride down and up the street in the summer when the temperature was just right, checking out the neighborhood. But right now you don't have to ride in the wheel chair, you can walk , or even go fishing if that is what you want to do.
In heaven the are no limitations to joy, laughter and doing things you could not do here on earth. Enjoy your new home not created by man's hands. Because here on earth things will never be the same without you. Rest in Jesus arms.
