Dr. Zerfoss was my Pediatrician 65 years ago. I had the honor and pleasure of speaking to him and his wife on the phone in 2019. He said I was probably his oldest patient still alive. I remember him making a Doctor visit at our home in Nashville when I was probably 3 or 4 years old. Boy how times have changed. I also remember that he had his office in a house in Nashville back then. My Mother said he was the only Doctor that could give you a specific diagnosis and not just tell you that you have some kind of virus. Fond memories for sure.

Dr. Z did so much for me! When he discovered I had Hodgkin’s Disease at age 17 in 1978... he drove to my house to tell me and my parents the bad news.... What a heart and what compassion! I’ll never forget this!

Dr. Zerfoss was my Doctor during my childhood in the 70's and 80's. He diagnosed me with allergies (not all pediatricians would/could do that in the 70's) helping my family to solve some chronic health issues I'd been struggling with. I remember him as a caring and attentive doctor who always seemed to be on the front edge of medicine. He and his nurse Mary practiced medicine with kindness and competency, and I am grateful for it. I will never forget him. My deepest sympathies to his family.

Dr ZERFOSS (Tommy) was my dear friend Evelyn’s husband I attended social gatherings with them and always enjoyed Tommy’s conversations with me. He had the ability to make people laugh at his very witty analysis of life He was totally enamored by my beautiful friend Evelyn and Evelyn was totally devoted to him I will miss Tommy but will remember the happy times I spent with them

Dr. Zerfoss and Nurse Mary cared for me in the 50's which was apparently just after he opened his practice on West End, until I went to college. Such a kind man, God's comfort to the family. Rita Solomon

So very sorry to hear about his passing. He was my baby doctor for many years. I was born in 1959. I remember going to his office as a child. He was always very nice to be around. He has a great heritage.

What a special man with a special kind heart that I was blessed to his care. Thank you mom (mrs betty ann foust) for having dr zerfoss looking over your children. All our prayers.

Dr Tommy was my pediatrician my entire childhood, all the way up to my college physical at age 18. I was sick a lot as a kid, so I saw him and Nurse Mary quite often. He was just the greatest and what a rich, full life he lived! We are so thankful he took care of us. Praying for his loved ones!

Dr. Zerfoss was a wonderful, old-school gentleman of a doctor! I was a patient from birth thru college and will never forget him.
