Musical Celebration (today) 7:30pm, Fairfield Baptist Church, 1004 Dickerson Rd. Visitation Saturday, April 6th, 11am-12noon with funeral to follow at Mt. Dear Family of Travis Lamar Logan. I just learned today that the precociously gifted servant of God has transitioned. I am deeply sorrowful. My earliest memories go back to his being the child organist at McNairy Hill Primitive Baptist Church; I served as pianist for a while. I knew then that God had gifted the Body of Christ with a Holy anointing reserved only for Travis!!! Bless the Lord for allowing us to witness what God provided. Bless you parents for the training you allowed God to provide for Travis through you. My prayers are with you.

Wow!!! I'm at a loss for words. Johnny, Sister Logan, Troy and Tracy you are all in my prayers. I've known this family for as long as I can remember. My heart is saddened at the passing of Travis. There will never be another human being like Travis Logan. He was a very special man; an intelligent, loving, gifted man of God, a talented musician. He had a wonderful sense of humor. Johnny and Marion raised their 3 sons to love the Lord first, to care for others, and to be respectful. Travis was a precious little one of around a year or so, when our families became friends. He was my baby girl Jennifer's first best friend, and their friendship, along with Troy and Tracy, has lasted into adulthood. My children, their late Daddy, and I have known and loved the Logan family since 1973. Marion, Johnny, Troy, Tracy...we love you all and are holding you in our hearts.
