Vicki Gregg Obituary

GREGG, VickiAge 42 of Cookeville. Funeral services for Mrs. Vicki Ann Dickinson Gregg will be held Sunday, January 20, 2008 at 1 p.m., in the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Cemetery. Rev. Hiller Duke will officiate. Mrs. Gregg died suddenly Wednesday morning, January 16, 2008 in Vanderbilt Medical Center in Nashville. Vicki was born March 17, 1965 in Cookeville and was the daughter of Mrs. Anita Steakley Dickinson of Cookeville and the late James Lee Dickinson. She was a homemaker. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Bryan Gregg, whom she married February 11, 1994 in Cookeville; daughter, Danielle Gregg; brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy & Kem Dickinson; grandmother, Cornelia Steakey; niece, Nicole Dickinson and nephew, Alec Dickinson, all of Cookeville; uncle, Graham Steakley of Old Hickory, TN and cousin, Clay Steakley of Washington, DC. Memorials may be made to Vanderbilt Lung Transplant Program, Patient Assistance Fund, Attn.: Evonne Moneypenny, 801 Oxford House, Nashville, TN 37232-4753. We loved Vicki so much. She was an inspiration to all of us here at Tennessee Donor Services and to me personally. She will be dearly missed. God Bless Bryan and Danielle.
