CANNON, Walter M.Of Nashville. February 21, 2011 after a short illness. Retired from Rose Furniture Co. Survived by wife, Maggie Knowles Cannon; sisters-in-law, Sarah L. Cannon of Nashville, TN, Mary Mills of Franklin, TN; devoted niece, Shearon (Craig) Hison of Clinton, Twp., MI and Joycelin (Nathaniel) Blackmun; nephews, Lambert Cannon, Reverend Latham (Sharon) Mills, Jr.; devoted friend, Pastor Doctor Theodore H. Bryson, Sr. of Mt. Nebo M.B.C., Nashville, TN; devoted friend & caretaker, Jacquelyn Coleman (Vernon) Robinson; special friends include Clayborn L. Hayes, Betty Robinson, Doctor May & Doctor Taylor Wray and staff, the staff of ICU and the 7th floor of Baptist Hospital, friends New Salem AME Church, the Fifty Forward Madison Senior Citizens Center & special thanks to the families Brittany Ave., Nashville, TN 37206 & Henry Smith. Going home service will be at Salem AME Church, 1800 4th Ave. N., Nashville, TN 37208. Rev. Anthony Thomas officiating. Family viewing from 11 a.m. to 12 Noon, service follows. Mr. Walter M.
