Age 86. March 19, 2014. He was preceded in death by parents, Benajah & Evelyn McFarlin; brothers, James N. "Jimmy" McFarlin, B.H. McFarlin, Jr., Charles David McFarlin & Hugh Lee McFarlin; sister, Ellen McFarlin Jennings; and aunt, Roberta McFarlin.

Survived by sister, Mary Lou McFarlin Holmes; nieces, Donna R. McFarlin Dobson, Susan Holmes (Tommy) Boyd, Deborah Holmes (Greg) Wallach & Terri Jennings (Jim) Stanley; nephews, James Noble McFarlin, Jr., Neal Lee (Pat) Jennings, Jr. & Brandon McConnell Holmes; 9 great nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Irmgard McFarlin & Ruth Marie McFarlin.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 11 a.m., at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, 5852 Nolensville Road. Interment McFarlin Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. "Special Thanks" to Polly Tucker & Nancy Bray for your friendship and loving care.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice.

Visitation Friday, 5-8 p.m., at Woodbine Funeral Home, Hickory Chapel, Directors (615) 331-1952.
