Buddy Maisel Obituary
Corning - Buddy Maisel, age 73 of Corning, New York passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021 at Robert Packer Hospital. He was born on September 12, 1947 in Bismarck, ND to Buddy and Mable (Jaros) Maisel. He married Clara (Ribble) on July 4, 1970. He was employed as a mechanist with Corning Inc. for 38 years, retiring in 2010.
Buddy and Clara shared a lifetime of love, happily married for 51 years. He shared a deep connection and love with his children and grandchildren. He was a funny, fun-loving family man who always had a great sense of humor.
He enjoyed countless camping trips with friends and family, body surfing in the ocean and spending time at the beach.
He was a fierce supporter of his grandchildren and was always there to watch Jacob swim, Peyton playing softball, Dakota riding horses, spend time laughing with Nicolas, and telling cracked-up fairytales to Destiny.
Buddy is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Clara Maisel; 2 children: Millisa (William) Sullivan of Savona; Louis ( Robin Rugerio) Maisel of Brooksville, FL; 5 grandchildren: Dakota Maisel, Jacob Sullivan, Peyton Sullivan, Nicholas Maisel, Destiny Morgan Maisel; four legged companion of 17 years: Tippy Maisel.
In addition to his parents, Buddy was predeceased by Mr. and Mrs. Louis Keeney; Harry and Irene Moe.
A graveside service will be held at Bath National Cemetery, San Juan Ave, Bath, NY 14810 on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 1:00pm. Carpenter's Funeral Home in Corning has be entrusted with his arrangements.
