I've been blessed with Dave's friendship for about 37 years, and have never gotten together with him that I didn't laugh uproariously at some point during our meeting. Either that, or he got me thinking about something in a totally new way that stretched my brain a little and still made me laugh. I think we would all be surprised to know the actual number of people Dave has helped over the years, and I will miss him greatly. He was one of my favorite "instigators", and I mean that in only the kindest way. I pray that his friends and family may find the acceptance and love - ironically, two of his greatest strengths, - that will help us all to deal with his absence. He would probably love it if we continued to share our stories about him whenever we are together.

Dave was a truly kind man who helped many over the years. He always let people know what he thought and you always knew he had your back. I will join many in missing him, but being so glad to have known him.

Dave was an amazing person! His loss will be felt throughout the community in ways that will turn the head! Now his three siblings have another person in their heavenly clan to help watch over their families. They were all great family people who would do anything to help people! Guess they were raised very well! RIP Uncle Dave! You will never be forgotten!
