I'm one of the friend's from the class of "58". The last time we got together at Nick's in Horseheads and Isabel came, and she said it was her favorite place we had gone. She hadn't been for awhile since she didn't have transportation. I'm so glad we got to spend time with her that day. I talked to her on the phone every month when I called her to let her know where we were going that month. She was a great friend and I enjoyed our time together. We will all miss her. RIP Isabel.

Isabel is my cousin and she and her sister Janette always made sure they kept in touch with my mom by visiting her in her home.
My mom was very touched by this and enjoyed their visits.
She was a caring person and loved by many.
My condolences to her family.

I met Isabel at the Corning Senior Center a few years ago when she decided she wanted to stop spending her money on lease cars and learn to navigate the bus system. I introduced her to the bus drivers for her area, we rode the busses and had coffee out together, and we talked on the phone. She was upbeat and cheerful, and I really enjoyed her company. My condolences to the family.
