I just returned from a vacation and realized that Jeff has passed on. Our deepest sympathy to Kelly and family, and Jeff's siblings.. I had the good fortune to know Jeff for many years as both a personal friend, fellow computer geek, and wonderful skillful psychologist co-worker previous to my retirement. Jeff was one of the most caring, compassionate, and competent people I have ever known or worked with in every facet of life. I'll always have fond memories of our times together whether scrounging up computer components at the shows in Rochester to build our computers, getting together socially, or discussing our behavior plans, and teaching SCIP at work. I have always maintained a deep respect his many skills and ability to handle complicated things with competence and humility. I also feel very grateful that I had the opportunity by phone to tell him how I felt about him prior to his passing.Thank you Kelly for that opportunity. Rest in Peace brother.

What a great guy! Jeff was truely a caring person. He would genuinely listen to the ones he cared for. He was always there to talk and listen to staff as well. My heart felt prayers go out the the family.

To the Wise family:
When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. May the wonderful treasures fill your hearts with love and bring you peace. May the God of all comfort be with you during this difficult time of grief. 1THESALONIANS 4:13,14 gives a wonderful hope for the future of seeing your loved ones again. My deepest condolences to the entire family and friends during this time of sorrow.

To the family, you have my sincere condolences. When someone falls asleep in death (Ecclesiastes 9: 5,10) the memories we have of them become our most precious treasure. May those memories comfort you as well as Gods promise at John 6:40.
My deepest sympathy

To Kelly and Family,
My heart felt condolences to you all. I just lost my wife Joan to cancer last March of this year. I do know the deep pain that you are all feeling right now. Jeff was always very kind to me while I was still working for the Finger Lakes DDSO. I retired from the state in 2011 after working there for 33 years.
My thoughts and prayers are with all your family. God Bless you all. And time will heal your broken hearts. All my love to you and your family. Jim Zimmer

I remember when Jeff and his family first moved to NY. Jeff and Bob would come with his Mom and Dad to Lakeside for dinner and they would always order a pizza just for an appetizer. Those boy's loved their food, and they were so big already but they were still in the growing process. Jeff was kind of shy back then but he sure did grow into a great man. I've moved away 14 years ago so I didn't know Jeff was even sick. I'm so sorry to learn of all he's been through and now his passing. But thankfully memories last our lifetime. I wish I could be there for his service but the family is definitely in my thoughts and in my heart. May he rest in peace and hope you all find peace that he's not suffering now. Fondest Regards,

Jeff was such a compassionate and caring man. He went above and beyond for the individuals and staff alike. I lost my sister and son 6 months apart. When I came back to work and Jeff saw me after my sister, he just gave me a hug and said there's nothing that can be said to make it better. Then when I lost my son he would bring me ice cream on his way home and just sit for a while. Sometimes there are no words to make it better. Just knowing someone is checking in can calm the heartache. I will miss him. I'm so thankful to have met him and to have worked with him.

Jeff always saw the best in people and in situations. He'd often say, "Just call me Pollyanna."
Rest in peace, my friend. Your suffering and pain are over. This world lost a wonderful man. My thoughts are with you Kelly and the family.
