Nancy Davis Obituary
Nancy was born August 15, 1940 to Roy and Naomi Westover. She was married to the love of her life for 21 years. She committed her life to the care of her beloved children and pets.
She will be remembered for years of camping and fishing trips. She loved the vacations at Chippewa Bay on the St. Lawrence River and going to the beach at Assateague Island to see the wild ponies. A lot of soggy camping trips at Hills Creek State Park with her sister Pat Holton and their children will never be forgotten. Especially the sharing of boxes of "chocolates" that resulted in many hours of potty trips.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Susan Davis; son, Brian (Sara) Davis; grandchildren: Jeff Richtmyer, Nick (Amanda) Davis, Isaac Davis; great granddaughter, Karlee Davis; also her beloved nieces: Karen (Scott) Brady, Sharon (Rich) Matwiejow; and many great nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 11:00 am at Victory Highway Wesleyan Church, Victory Highway, Painted Post, NY, Pastor Vaughn Vanskiver officiating. Phillips Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 17 W. Pulteney St., Corning, NY has been entrusted with the arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy's name may be made to: Carefirst Hospice, 3805 Meads Creek Road, Painted Post, NY 14870 to thank all those who helped on her journey home.
