Mrs. Sharon Ann Fountain Davis, 69, of Lake City, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the North Florida Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness. She was born in Anchorage, Alaska on September 1, 1948 to the late Gerald and Anna Stolt Fountain. She has made Lake City her home since 2007, moving here from Fort Pierce, FL. She worked as a Human Resources Assistant for the Florida Gateway College for the past nine plus years and she was of the Baptist faith. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, riding motorcycles, reading and going to car shows. She absolutely enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and adored her husband dearly. She was also a United States Air Force Veteran. She is preceded in death by her brother; John Fountain.

She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years; Jim Davis of Lake City; daughters; Shanna Marie Lopez (Jerry) of Lake City, Virginia Mae Davis of Lake City and Christina Palermo of Austin, TX; one nephew; Jared Fountain of Anchorage, AK. Six grandchildren; Alex Palermo, Alexis Raby, Jacqulyn Raby, Christopher Latham, James Dimmett and Modesto "Moy" Lopez, along with many friends and extended family also survive.

A celebration of Sharon's life will take place on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Gateway-Forest Lawn Funeral Home with family friend Charles Paschal speaking. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 A.M. (one hour prior to the services) at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be considered to the American Cancer Society or to Haven-Suwannee Valley Hospice.
