We met Charlie 15 years ago, as we would walk every morning through downtown Wake Forest and he would greet us with that smile, a hug and "how you doin Sug". He was a constant greeting for us every morning as he opened up the hardware store, eating his popcorn for breakfast. He was someone we always looked forward to seeing and hearing his witty stories and contagious laughter. I´ll never forget Charlie. I know his heart is full being reunited with his Ruby. He talked about her so much, I felt like I knew her. RIP sweet friend
