Jimmie Feilen Obituary

"Jim" Feilen, 77, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, with his wife by his side. He was born on January 2, 1946, in Seattle, Washington, to the late John Jae and Virginia (Valdez) Feilen. Jim is preceded in death by his first wife Deborah (Stancil) and son Robert Campbell.

Jim was a devoted husband, father, and Papa. After serving in the US Army, he had several jobs including auto mechanic and time at the Borden chemical plant. Jim later became a driver for UPS and retired as a Loss Prevention Manager. After retirement, Jim had several other jobs that included selling life insurance and working at Evans Machinery. He was a hardworking man always ensuring his family was taken care of.

Jim is survived by his wife Gloria Jean Avery and two daughters, Alicee Van Dorp (Dirk) and Candace Sherrod (John). He is also survived by two brothers, Jae (Roberta) and Ken, and a sister Sharon Andrews. He loved his grandchildren; Jeremiah Feilen (Kristy), John Sherrod (Ashley), Robert Campbell (Yana), Heather Jackson (Nahshon), Jimmie Sherrod (April), Alex Campbell, Andrew Van Dorp (Alex), Brittanie New (Zach), and Thomas Van Dorp. He had eight great grandchildren Sophia, Addison, Brooklynn, Riley, Braxton, Coen, Beau, and Paisley. He also had several nieces and nephews.
