WILLIS, TEXAS - Daniel Francis Burleigh resided in Willis, TX. Born in Lafayette, LA on June 14, 1999. Our precious son passed away in his sleep on January 3, 2013.
Mark 10:13-16 - People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them.
He was the beloved son of Lawrence K Burleigh, Sr and Alicia and Wesley Heiskell; Sisters: Rebecca Lopresto and Delaney Heiskell; Brothers: Thomas Lopresto, Christopher Heiskell, Jack Burleigh, David Burleigh, Larry Burleigh Jr, Bob Burleigh; Grand Parents, Claire and Joe Guillory, Barbara and Glenn Preas; Aunts and Uncles, Jonathan Gibson, Al Gibson, Grant and Melissa Gibson, Francis and T.C. I had the pleasure of being able to have my caregivers at Mel's Heart of Gold Nursing Services care for Daniel and we loved him dearly. He is definitely an angel sent from God.
May God bless this entire family as he will be truly missed and never Forgotten.

My condolences to all of you. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I am an assistant at Lafayette High and knew Thomas. I enjoyed going to his car on some mornings to say hello to Daniel. He is in the arms of our Savior!
