LAFAYETTE - Memorial services will be held Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in Chapel of Village Du Lac (1404 Carmel Dr. Lafayette, LA 70501) for Elie "Tiger" Dupuis, Jr., age 74, who passed away Monday, May 29, 2017 at Magnolia Estates in Lafayette.
Elie Dupuis, Jr. was born in Rayne, Louisiana. He lived and worked in the restaurant industry in New Orleans for much of his adult life and moved back home to Lafayette in his later years to live out the remainder of his days near his family.
Survivors include two sisters, Rita Dupuis Moore and Cynthia Dupuis; four brothers, Kerman Dupuis and his wife, Patsy, Danny Janice, Rex Dupuis and his wife, Cheryl, and Kenneth Dupuis and his wife, Lila.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Gertie Janice; his father, Elie Dupuis, Sr. and his wife, Genevieve; and one brother, Carl Dupuis.
The family request visiting hours be observed from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until service time on Saturday.
Melancon Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
