Eugene Comeaux Obituary
SCOTT - Funeral Services will be held at an 11:00 am Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, February 11, 2013 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Mire, LA for Eugene John Comeaux, 81, who passed away on Friday, February 8, 2013 at Evangeline Live Oak Nursing Home.
Reverend Mike J. Arnaud, Pastor of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Mire, LA, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery in Mire, LA.
Mr. Eugene, a resident of Scott , was the son of the late Jules Comeaux and the former Lula Alleman.
He is survived by his daughters, Mary C. Racca and her husband Jimmy of Scott, Nancy C. Racca and her fiancé Bryan of Mire and Cathy C. Louviere and husband Dennis of Carencro; his sons, Dudley James Comeaux and wife Madeline of Gholson, TX and Jeffery Paul Comeaux of Mire; nine grandchildren; six step grandchildren; five great grandchildren with one on the way and thirteen step great grandchildren; his sisters, Margie C. Borill of Midland,LA and Rita Lois C. Romero of Rayne; his brothers, Kermit Joseph Comeaux and wife Ruby and Aaron John Comeaux and wife Linda all of Mire, LA.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Hebert Comeaux; his parents, Jules Comeaux and the former Lula Alleman Comeaux; his son, Jerry J. Comeaux; his grandson, Anthony Comeaux; his sister, Sadie C. Guidry and his brothers, J.C. and Belton Comeaux.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Sunday, February 10, 2013 from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm Sunday evening in the funeral home. Visiting hours will continue Monday from 8:00 am to service time.
Pallbearers will be, Dudley James Comeaux, Jeffery Paul Comeaux, Jeremy Julius Trahan, Gerry Lee Racca, Gerald Francis Sonnier, II and Dennis Wayne Louviere. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jerry Dalematt Sonnier, Chris Scott Coldren and Jerred Paul Comeaux.
