I'm so lucky that I spent so much time with FG, Elise and family in the summers as I grew up. I will always remember FG's twinkle in the eye and wonderful smile. FG taught me to eat chicken gristle and like it!! He could eat crabs faster than anyone I ever knew. He would always give me the "popsycle"
My thoughts and love is there for your family. Love you all. Your cousin from Colorado, Katherine

May the hand of Christ be on the family as I know this is a difficult time, "Boogie" was a loving father and you his children, was so important to him. I can only relate to "Boogie" as "He lived today as there was no tomorrow, as it might be". I am so grateful that our lives touch and will cherish the memories.
May God Bless each of you.

TO THE MIXON FAMILY,
I REALLY DID NOT KNOW MR.MIXON, BUT I HEARD SO MANY STORIES FROM ELISE, EMILY, MISSIE AND EUGENIE LEMOINE. THEIR LOVE FOR MR MIXON WAS SO EVIDENT. THERE SEEMS NOT TO HAVE THE ADEQUATE WORDS TO EXPRESS MY SINCERE CONDOLENSESS TO ALL OF THE FAMILY. HIS DAUGHTER ELISE IS MY HAIRDRESSER:SHE HAS A PICTURE OF HER MOM AND DAD AT HER STATION. SHE TOLD STORIES OF THE FAMILY GATHERING TO GO SWIMMING AND HOW MUCH FUN SHE HAD WITH HER NIECES CHILDREN. I KNOW THAT THE FAMILY WILL GET THROUGH THIS LOSS, THEY WOULD TELL ME HOW THEY ENJOYED GOING TO THEIR CAMP.
I AM SURE THAT YOU ALL FEEL THAT YOUR MOM AND DAD ARE TOGETHER AGAIN.
