Hubert Olivier Obituary
EGAN - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Michael Chapel, Egan for Hubert E. "Bubba" Olivier, III, 34 who died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013 at 2:25 p.m. at Beauregard Memorial Hospital in DeRidder.
Fr. Jude Thierry, Pastor of St. Michael Chapel, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Sensat Cemetery in Egan.
"Bubba" is survived by his wife, Amanda Romey Olivier of Egan; two sons, Dylon Olivier of Crowley and Braxton Olivier of Egan; one step-daughter, Marley Romey of Egan; his mother, Deborah F. Olivier of Broussard; his father and step-mother, Hubert E. Olivier, Jr. and Meri of Milton; one sister, Christina O. Abshire and her husband Travis of Leroy; one brother, Jerret Olivier and his wife Leann of Egan; his maternal grandmother, Gloria B. Franks of Pine Bluff, AR.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John L. Franks, Jr; paternal grandfather, Hubert E. Olivier, Sr.
