James Cluse Obituary
CECILIA - Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church for James Patrick Cluse, 66, who died Sunday, October 2, 2016 at New Iberia Manor North.
Services will be conducted by Fr. Neil Pettit, Pastor.
Interment will be in St. Rose of Lima Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughter, Andrea Cluse (Craig) of Cecilia, LA; sons, Beau Cluse, Sr. (Kayla) of Cecilia, LA, Kolby Cluse of Houston, TX; sisters, Elsie Cluse, Sylvia Pitre of Arnaudville, LA, Cynthia Cluse of Lafayette, LA; grandchildren, Brennan Gordon, Beau Cluse, Jr., LouAnna Cluse, Austin Alexander, Chandler Demouchet; great grandchildren, Kaisley and Kinsley Gordon, all of Cecilia, LA; special nephews, Alonzo, Byron and Cyrus Pitre, Jonathan Cluse and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his former wife, LouAnna Roberts Cluse Derouselle and his parents, Alice and Norris Cluse.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Syrie Funeral Home from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. A rosary will be recited at 8:00 a.m.

From 1974 until about 1977, I worked in the oilfield. It was always a pleasure when my crew was assigned a job where Pat was working. He taught me how to run a bulldozer and was always willing to explain why we were doing things the way we were doing them. Of all my coworkers from those years, Pat is the one I would have most wanted to stay friends with, the one I've thought of most often in the 40 years since. He was as fine a man as I've known. I hope you are comforted by the many marvelous memories you have of Pat.
