Lafayette - Lafayette, LA----- Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, September 10, 2016 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Lafayette, LA for Mr. Joseph Decuir, Jr, 72, of Lafayette, LA; who passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at Lafayette General Southwest Medical Center in Lafayette, LA.
Fr. Sebastian Myladiyil, SVD will officiate the funeral mass.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lafayette, LA.
On Sunday, September 4, 2016 God called "44" home to his eternal resting place. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 50 years Rose Mae Noel Decuir of Lafayette, LA; (1) daughter: Stacy Decuir of Lafayette, LA; (2) sons: Conrad (Colette) Decuir and Ralph Decuir both of Lafayette, LA; (3) grand-children: Malika, Shenique and Constance Decuir and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by her parents: Ralph and Athelee Gabriel Decuir; (3) brothers: Wilson Pomier, Murphy Gabriel and Etchien Granger; (2) nephews: Leonard and Graylee Granger.
Visitation will begin Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. until 12:45 A.M. at the church.
