Michael Patin Obituary
BREAUX BRIDGE - Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, on Friday, February 7, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Michael Patin, 49, who died on Monday, February 3, 2014.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until 10:00 pm on Thursday, and continue on Friday at 7:00 am until 1:45 pm.
Rev. David Baudoin will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Henderson.
Michael enjoyed working on heavy equipment and was meticulous about everything he worked on. He loved his children, who were his pride and joy, and he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Michael always said, "If you can't do it right the first time, don't do it at all" and would always say as he was leaving, "Glad y'all got to see me."
He is survived by three sons, Nicholas (Christen) Patin, Neil (Savannah) Patin, and Michael Jude Patin, all of Arnaudville; his companion, Jay Miller and her three children and three grandchildren, all of Arnaudville; and his brother, Patrick (Margot) Patin of Parks.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Patin; his parents, Allen Roy Patin and Elsie Hardy Patin; and two brothers, Edward and Ronald Patin.
Pallbearers will be his three sons, Nicholas, Neil and Michael "Jude" Patin, Jimmy Howard, Curtis P. Charles, and Carroll Trahan.
Honorary pallbearers will be Quentin Boutin, Victor Rogers, Patrick Patin, Nicholas Etienne, Jacob Barras, and Cody Carlisle.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.

To all of Mike's family,
I used to work with Mike some 20 years ago when we worked at Cajun Construction and the part of him saying "glad ya'll got to see me" is ever so true. Mike was such a kind and gentle person and I really enjoyed working with him. I am so sorry for your loss.
