Milta Arceneaux Sonnier was born in Scott, Louisiana and was a native of Lafayette for over 70 years. "Peppy", as she was known to family and friends, was absolutely in love with her family and friends of all ages. She enjoyed gardening and especially planting flowers to attract butterflies. "Peppy" had a great time dancing and clogged well into her 70's. Her "joie de vivre" attitude touched all who knew and loved her. She will be dearly missed.

The family requests that visitation be observed on Thursday from 2:00 PM until time of services.

The Sonnier family would like to give special thanks to Malorie Collins and Lucille Venable.

The family requests that donations be made in Mrs. Sonnier's name to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston Street, Suite 200, Lafayette, LA. 70503 or visit www.hospiceacadiana.com
