LAFAYETTE - Funeral Services will be held at a 2:00 pm Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, September 4, 2012 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Shirley Trahan Hebert, 66, who passed away on September 2, 2012 at 8:30 am at her residence.

Reverend Dan Edwards, Pastor of St. Jules Church, will be Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services.

Burial will take place in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery.

Mrs. Hebert, a resident of Scott, LA, was the daughter of the late Alton Trahan of Maurice, Louisiana and the former Olamae Schexnaider of Lafayette, Louisiana. She was a member of St. Jules Church and a member of Camp Bluebird.

She is survived by one daughter, Olamae Faul of Scott, LA; one son, Stoney J. Hebert of Scott, LA; eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Rickey E. Hebert and Lawrence F. Hebert, Sr.; one grandson, Jean J. Hebert; and one brother, Calvin Trahan.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home of Lafayette on Monday, September 3, 2012 from 12:00 pm until 10:00 pm and on Tuesday from 8:00 am until the time of service.

Pallbearers will be Stoney J. Hebert, Corey J. Faul, Cody J. Faul, Lawrence F. Hebert, Jr., Pernell Bourque, and John Roger.

Memorial contributions can be made in the name of Mrs. Hebert to Hospice of Acadiana, 2600 Johnston Street, Ste. 200, Lafayette, LA, 70503.
