My condolences to Mr. D's family and friends. It was my pleasure to have worked for and with Mr. Dereveloy at Barranger, Barranger, Jones & Fussell beginning in 1978 and subsequently at Jones Fussell in the 90's in Covington. He was a kind, gentle and well-respected person. In the early 80's at Christmas time he would portray Papa Noel at our office Christmas parties for our children. I have very fond memories of Mr. D. Thanks for all of the fun times - Mr. D.

Prayers are with the family

April 13, 2012

My condolences to the entire family. Tommy was like a second big brother to me in my (Steve's)early college days. It was a great blessing to get to renew our friendship over the past year and a half. Amanda and I are very grateful for having been able to spend some time with him and Norman in the last few months. The world is indeed less good and beautiful for his leaving it.

My condolences to the entire family. Would that I knew how to comfort you. Tommy was like a second big brother to me (Steve) in my early college days. It was a great blessing to get to renew our friendship over the past year and a half. Amanda and I are very grateful for having been able to spend some time with him (and Norman) in the last few months. The world is somewhat less good and beautiful for his leaving it.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories you have in your heart bring you comfort in remembering Tommy'D I have always felt, at times like this, there is so little anyone can say, for there are no words that have ever been invented to fit the loss of a loved one. May you find great comfort in knowing that our loved ones are safe and free from all tears, trials, troubles and temptations from now on they are where nothing can ever hurt them again. Always remember that our loved ones just go beyond the sight of our vision and the touch of our hands, and they are waiting for us on the other side of death, where time is not counted by years and there are no separations.

Lovingly and Prayerfully;
Easton and Lynette

To Tommy's Family,

We never know how life will turn out, but I can assure you Tommy was always there with us trying to make this world a better place in all his endeavors. We were all blessed to have known Tommy and his kindness, friendship and love for the world. As an SAE fraternity brother he was an outstanding leader and caring friend. We will truly miss him.

You will all be in my thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,

I was so saddened to hear of Tom's passing. He was such a caring person, one who will be missed by those who loved him, as well as those,like myself, who truly liked him. It had been great, this last year, to reconnect occasionally(at the nursing home, at reunion meetings,at the funeral home) with Tom after all these years. His loved ones will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,

I was so sorry to hear that Tommy had passed. I remember Tommy as great fun and a leader at Lafayette High. I had the pleasure of reconnecting with him several years ago and meeting his life partner Norman. He will be missed by all. He was a true champion for those who were discriminated again. My best to his family and Norma.
