William Simons Obituary
Lafayette - Lafayette: A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 1:30PM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Lafayette, for William J. Simons, age 87 who died on Friday October 13th, 2017 peacefully at his family residency.
Interment will be held at St Paul Cemetery in Abbeville following the funeral.
Survivors include his wife, Claudette P. Simons, one daughter; Veronica Simons of Houston TX., two sons; Michael Simons of Atlanta GA., and Ricardo Simons of Orlando Fl., six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also included are a host of nieces, nephews, four brothers-in-law and thirteen sisters-in-law.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Marie D. Hill and father Willie Simmons, as well as, three brothers-in-law, one sister and two sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be observed from 10:00 AM to 1:00PM at Kinchen Funeral Home in Lafayette.
