Sweetheart your Daddy loves you so much! He was a good friend. You are so heavy on my heart! God loves you more than you can imagine! You reach out to me and come visit me whenever you want! I’m sorry you lost your Dad. I can’t imagine how you feel but I do know Jesus asked me to write you and he loves you more than you can ever understand. You father was precious to me. I carry him in my heart everywhere I go and every memory. I’m a parent who loves you! There is nothing we need more than Jesus precious girl! Jesus is everything that protects you from harm. Jesus loves you baby girl!

Cathy, I'm so sorry for your loss. I pray God will continue to comfort you and give you peace. I have fond memories of Aaron. He was always so kind to his "little" cousin. I remember taking pictures with Grandmas Polaroid of all of us with that big E. T. that grandma made. I know Aaron loved you and Gabrielle and all of his family so much.

Ms. Cathy,
I love you and Aaron so much. You and Aaron were part of my life for so many years. You and mom raised us from diapers til' graduation. You were and always will be my second mom. Aaron will always be my brother. Aaron and I played hard, argued constantly, but always loved each other. So many memories ... from camping at Percy Quinn, me and Aaron playing Dukes of Hazard, Aaron scaring me by playing the Hulk, us trying to pretend we were sleeping so you and mom wouldn't make us go to sleep when Dallas came on, so many sleep overs. I remember mom would make me wash my hair on Saturday nights. During the week too, but on Sat. nights, she would comb it out and put something in it, conditioner I guess ... it was so long, she had to comb it out for me. You and Aaron were always with us on those nights and I will always remember trying not to cry out from mom combing out the knots, because Aaron would fuss at me. He would get mad because he wanted to watch the Duke boys and I was messing him up. As we got older, Aaron and I would talk about our latest crushes, he would tell me how my hair was too big or I was putting on too much make-up. He would always try to get me to set him up with my friends and I'd do the same with him. He loved making fun of me for my obsession with New Kids on the Block. I think he was just jealous! I would get mad at him for trying to tell me what I should and shouldn't eat! He was so bossy! I was bossy too, though. When we were little I remember making him play house, he hated it, but was always a good Daddy to my babies. I'd also make him be my student when we played school, too. I always had to be the teacher. Go figure, now I really am a teacher. My mom has been telling me even more stories, about when we were babies. How y'all would listen to us while we were playing. She can't hardly go a few sentences without breaking down. ...me too. We were always together. I can't even remember a time during those years, when y'all weren't there. Every picture I have from those days, y'all were in them. Every birthday party, every Christmas, I could go on and on. My only regret in life, ... is that we lost touch after Aaron and I graduated. I guess life took over. Thank God for Facebook, though. I'm so glad we were able to re-connect over the past few years. Aaron loved telling me about his baby girl. He loved her so much. He loved you too, Ms. Cathy. I am a better person because of knowing Aaron. I am proud that I was raised right there next to him. I will always love him, and you too. Whenever you need me, I'm here. Just pick up the phone or sign on to Facebook. I don't ever want to lose touch again. I love you too much. May God comfort you, and all of us, who were blessed enough to have loved and shared our life with such a wonderful human being. ~Love you Always~

Dear Aaron I know you were tired. My prayer is that you rest in peace now. To friends and family, my prayers are with you as well.
Aaron once told me "A soldier's tears falls from on the inside." From that moment I knew that Aaron was a resilient young man.
To Gabrielle- your dad loved you sooo much, he loved showing off your photos. We will see him again...

My precious Al,
When I think of Aaron, I will always see that little blonde guy with the drums he always shared with Ande, and remember how much my boys looked forward to seeing him whenever they visited their Uncle Alan and Aunt Mona. He had a warrior spirit and a beautiful smile. My heart is with you.

Aaron was one of my best friends growing up. He lived about 8 houses down the road from me and we were part of quite a neighborhood gang. We rode bikes all the time, explored the dirty ditches near the parks, got attacked by two dogs once and fell into the creek during the escape, use to dress up like Crockett & Tubbs from Miami Vice, had about has much fun as young boys could have. His mother was an Angel, as was his Grandmother. I spent many nights at both houses. His dad lived across town (Baton Rouge) and was one of the THE coolest dudes ever! He'd always take us out to eat, every time we stayed with him.
I'll miss ya buddy. God bless you and your family.
