I was so sad to hear of Mickey's passing on. My husband and I had the pleasure of knowing Mickey at Tembec. He will be greatly missed by all. In is own unique way he always made us laugh and smile at life. Mickey always went out of his way to help anyone that need a helping hand. He is in the hands of the Lord now and is watching over all the ones he loved and the ones that loved him. Until we all meet again in God's glory we will celebrate his memories when he was with us on earth. My God give his family the strength and understanding of why his life was cut so short.

Charlotte, you may not remember me but I think we spent time together in the ICU watiing room at BR Gen. My husband was there for a bypass-I was the scrabble dictionary for a time. I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your loss and that you and your family impressed me so much with your obvious love for each other and for Mickey- God bless you all.

To The Metz Family:

I am so sorry to hear about your loss.

I had the pleasure of working with Mickey for a few years, until I left the mill last February. He ALWAYS went out of his way to help me, and when our paths crossed, he ALWAYS had "something to say". He had a way about him that was, well, "Uniquely Mickey". Even through my tears, he still brings a smile to my face. I will miss him until I see him again.

God be with you.
