My heartfelt condolences to their family. Tammy was my closest friend at Drew -- one of my first there when I started. I am forever thankful for their friendship. They were so passionate for what they believed in, and genuinely saw the good in everyone they were close to. They were a fierce advocate and voice for the LGBT community and made me strive to be a better feminist. I am so lucky to be their friend and I miss them desperately.
