Benjamin Beauford Obituary

Benjamin R. Beauford, born August 18, 1948, died February 2, 2021. Ben was third born child of his father Camile Beauford, and his mother Burneast Beauford. Ben is preceded in death by his parents, older sister Marilyn Beauford of Metairie, LA and older brother James Beauford of Anchorage, AK. Ben is survived by his son Ross Beauford and younger brother Michael Beauford, both of Baton Rouge, LA. Ben is a US Army veteran of the Viet Nam War. Ben is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University, receiving an Associate Degree in Culinary Arts in 1993 and a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel and Resort Management in 1995. Ben spent most of his professional career as a Chef. In lieu of flowers or other gifts, the family recommends a gift in Ben's name to The Crossing at Clarity Hospice. Phone number is (225) 291-4700.

I remember Ben in high school (Lee High in Baton Rouge) as quiet but funny.

My sincere condolences. Ben and I worked together at Stupp Corporation. Ben had a way of making me laugh. He had a unique way of looking at the world. So sorry to hear of his passing.
