Billy Devall Obituary

Billy Devall, 70 and a longtime resident of Robert, passed away Monday, Dec. 6, 2010. He leaves behind his wife, Judy Devall; children, Marlene April Ochsner and husband Alton, Vanessa Armstrong and husband Richard, and Robert Devall and wife Cheryl; grandchildren, Justin April, Tyler, Tiffany, Tori and Tanner Armstrong; and stepgrandchildren, Myranda, Tiffany and Christian. He is also survived by two brothers, Ronnie Devall and wife Betty, and "W.L." Devall and wife Charlotte. Preceding Billy in death were his parents, Wilton and Gertrude Devall; sister, Pat Lewis; and brother, Bobby Devall. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services from the chapel of Brandon G. Thompson Funeral Home, Hammond, on Thursday, Dec. 9, at noon. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home on Wednesday, Dec, 8, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and again Thursday from 10 a.m. until the funeral service time. The services will be conducted by the Rev. Michael Starkey. Interment will follow in Narretto Cemetery in Loranger. To offer condolences and view other information visit www.thompsoncares.com.
