Chee Chee and Butch,
I have such wonderful memories of our time together on Winnebago Street with Poppee, Mommee, Uncle John, Aunt Cecile, Bubba, and you two living in the same house. I recall that at one time Jimmy, Aunt Gilly and Uncle James lived in the garage apartment, and Ann, Aunt Eva and Uncle Leo lived across the street. This was one of the best times in my life and I thank the Lord for you all, because you were like my brothers and sister. I did not have much contact with Brenda and the younger generation, but I also have wonderful memories of visiting Ronnie and Tommie, Aunt Margie and Uncle Sam. I still tell folks about what a great war hero my Uncle Sam was and how I had a REAL Uncle Sam. I love you all and miss seeing you. Becky and I are dedicating Bibles that will be placed by the Gideons in Hotels and Motels in memory of Brenda. I regret that we will not be able to attend the funeral, but our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love Joe Ray and Becky

To Chee and Butch: Brenda´s legacy with all her children and grandchildren is what life is all about. My memories of visiting, what it seemed like every Sunday, Poppie and Mommie with your family next store are still a special to me. My sister Cathy running around with your sisters and Ronnie and I running around with Butch. Chee, you were a cool teenager. I remember spending the night and I think you were the homecoming Queen, and everyone was so excited. At our age now, it is nice to have those memories to look back on. God Bless Brenda.
