Charles Bilies Obituary

Charles "CB" Wallace Bilies, of Baton Rouge, La., died Thursday, November 3, 2016 at his residence. He was 82. He was born October 24, 1934, in New Roads, Louisiana. He was a long-time resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He graduated from McKlinley High School, Class of 1953. He attended Southern University. He a US Army Veteran and retired from the United States Postal Services as a Tour Superintendent with 30 years of service. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Sarah Davis Bilies; son, Pastor Dale W. (Tara) Flowers; Step-Daughters, Roxie (Andrew) Jackson, Gwen (Alfego) Tate, Cassandra Ferguson, Karen (Wade) Bailey, and Yolanda (Harvey) Freeman. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melba and William Latimore; sister, Carolyn L. Pickett; brother, William Latimore, Jr.; wife, Gloria S. Bilies and stepdaughter Cathy Jo Mitchell Redditt. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 12, 2016, from 9am til 11am. Services will follow at 11a.m. at the New Sunlight Baptist Church located at 1777 America Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The service will be conducted by Pastor Errol K. Domingue.
