Coral Lois Jones Limbers

Coral Lois Jones Limbers, 84 years old, beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 20, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She entered this world on March 6, 1939, born to Minnie and Frederick Jones, in Auckland, New Zealand. She was very proud to be a United States citizen since 1961. She loved dancing (especially jitterbugging), gardening, traveling, and most of all her family. Coral is survived by her companion of 23 ½ years, Ben Savell; children, Vicki Rockford, Dale Limbers and wife Mary Beth, Suzanne Limbers, Shawn Limbers and wife Christy, Shannon Pierce and husband James; grandchildren, Lane, Katelyn, Jason and wife Joni, Jessica and husband Michael, Leland and wife Dylan, Jade and husband Jacob, Austin and wife Domonique; 16 great grandchildren; sister, Jan Lothian and husband Paul; and a host of nieces and nephews. Coral is preceded in death by her husband, George Dale Limbers, Sr.; her parents; and brother, Geoff Mack. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for the visitation at Journey Church, 17407 Greenwell Springs Rd., on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, from 9:30 AM until the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Paul Pierce. The graveside service and burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
