David Carlyle King

David Carlyle King, born September 25, 1949, a native of Watson, LA, and resident of Baton Rouge, LA, died on September 18, 2017 at his home. Visitation will be held at Live Oak United Methodist Church, 34890 LA Highway 16, Watson, LA on Saturday, October 7, 2017. It will be held in the Chapel beginning at 12:30 pm with a memorial service at 2:00 pm. A short reception will follow at LOUMC Fellowship Hall. David is survived by his daughter, Angela DeLaine King and granddaughter, Jadyn Alayn King of Livingston, LA; brother, Lawrence Marvin King and wife Linda of Cypress, TX and sister, Julie King Breaux of Watson; nephews, Brian Alan King of Cypress and Christopher James Breaux of Watson; nieces Lisa Dianne King of Dallas, TX and Jennifer Suzanne Breaux of Watson; and great nephew Peyton Jacob Parker of Watson. He was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence Seborn King and Rena Ott King and his son Anthony David King. David graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University of Hammond and obtained his CPA and CFE certifications. He ran a very successful CPA firm for many years. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in David's name to the LOUMC Capital Campaign Fund.
