I was blessed to have worked with Ms. Hale as a teacher at Southeast Middle . As a teacher at Southeast Middle we taught on the sixth grade hall together. She was such a caring teacher to her students . I remember while teaching at Southeast I was involved in a very serious car accident. Debbie , Paula and Dana came up with a menu to feed me and my family for a week . Debbie showed up at the door with that precious smile of hers, hands outstretched. My family and I will always remember this act of kindness. The angels are rejoicing in heaven . We are sending prayers for your comfort and peace .

Debbie and I were neighbors, and when we met, she instantly became my best friend. We were young and childless at that time, and enjoyed going to garage sales, and those great old Goudchaux warehouse sales!
Our pregnancies overlapped and we became young mothers together. I have wonderful memories of our husbands taking the kids trick or treating, sharing meals, and of Debbie´s patience teaching me to drive the new standard car that my husband and I purchased.
Debbie has always had a special place in my heart, and I feel broken knowing she is gone. I am grateful for the many memories we shared.
My love and condolences to Michael Sr, Michael Jr, and Catherine and Brent.

I am saddened to hear about the passing of Mrs. Hale. I heard about and met Mrs. Hale when my daughter, Monica Kimbrough, was a student teacher and teacher at Sherwood Middle Magnet. I am convinced that one of the reasons that Monica stayed in Baton Rouge was because of the friendship and the motherly love that she felt from Mrs. Hale.
Thank you, Mrs. Hale and may God give comfort to your family.

It was one of the blessings and joys in my life to have met and worked with Ms. Hale in education. As a teacher at Sherwood Middle Magnet, she was a very giving teacher; to her students, fellow teachers, student teachers, and administration. I became a better person and teacher having shared in the joy of being a teacher. May she rest in God's hands and I pray for comfort for her family.

We are so saddened to hear about the loss of Debbie Hale. She was a pure ray of light; the times we met she was very gracious, cheerful, and warm. I'll never forget when she and Catherine sent some homemade chocolates. We send all of our love to Debbie's family.

My heart goes out to Debbie's family and all who hear of her sudden passing. She was such a vivacious teacher and friend. She always had a ready smile and welcoming personality the many years we taught together at Southeast Middle school. She also taught both of my granddaughters at St. George, where she undoubtedly enriched so many lives. May she rest in peace.

Sharing a photo I took at Taylor and Sothy´s wedding . I´ll always remember on many Thanksgiving days, not having enough dining room chairs , and I´d always end up knocking at Debbie´s door and borrowing her chairs to add to my table. I so appreciated her kindness. For her family, I hope the picture brings a smile. Remember that the Lord is very close to the broken-hearted. We are praying for all of you. I am so thankful that our lives crossed paths at Southeast Middle School and later at Sherwood Middle many years ago, she was a great friend, and taught both of my daughters. I am grateful the investment she poured into my girls lives and always, always being my friend. She will be so missed and I am praying for her family during this heart wrenching loss. She is dearly loved by all who knew her.
