Duncan, Dorothy T.
Duncan, Dorothy T. a resident of Baton Rouge, she passed at 84 on May 1, 2021 at her residence. Dorothy was a native of Opelousas, LA. She was a graduate of J.S Clark High School. She received both her Bachelor's & Master's degrees and Plus 30 from the Southern University A&M College of Baton Rouge, LA.She was a retired teacher at Louisiana School for the Deaf. She was a faithful member and choir member of Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church. Religious service will be held at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church, on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 11:00 A.M., conducted by the Rev. Ronnie Blake. Interment at Southern Memorial Garden. Survived by one son, Kelvin Duncan, two sisters, Dorothy Mason of Opelousas, LA and Cora Robinson of California, one brother, William Warner of Houston, TX. Preceded in death by her husband Joseph W. Duncan and one son Mark A. Duncan, Sr. and maternal and paternal grandparents.
