I was devastated to hear of Durinda's untimely departure. I had just received a telephone call the Thursday before. Durinda and I were life long friends as well as Gwen & family. She has returned to God's loving embrace. May she find peace. My condolences to the family.

I was saddened to hear of the death of
Durinda. My thoughts and prayers are
are with you. I can recall the night
that Durinda joined the National Park
Service/Amtrak's Trails & Rails program. She was an excellent addition
to the interpretive program. The guides
greatly benefitted from her training and insight.

Deepest condolences to the family on their loss. Durinda was a remarkable and inspiring person, whose smile always lit up the room. She was accomplished in so many ways, but above all she was a beautiful, delightful and inspiring person to be around. Working with her on various projects was an inspiration and a pleasure.
