Dustin Michael Goode

Dustin Michael Goode, a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandson, uncle, and friend, passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at the age of 37. He was a resident of Addis and a native of Batchelor, LA. Visitation will be held at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 10:30am to 12:30pm with Mass of Christian Burial at 1:30pm at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Plaquemine, celebrated by Father Jason Palermo. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine. Dustin is survived by his wife, Lindsey Rivet Goode; children, Camden, Jeanne and Briar Goode; mother, Pam Goode; father, Michael Goode and wife Mary; sister, Brooke Goode; brother, Garrett Day; grandmother, Amelia Aguillard; father and mother-in-law, Lin and Liz Rivet; uncle, Keith Aguillard and wife Michelle; aunts, Brenda Goode, Martha Rowzee, Laura Berg and husband Dave; cousins, Shawn and Bryan Aguillard; godchild, Dawson Aguillard; and numerous cousins and other extended family. Preceded in death by grandparents, Louis Aguillard, Roy and Joyce Goode, and uncle, John Goode. Pallbearers will be Chase Breaux, Tyler Bordelon, Bryan Aguillard, Nathan Hebert, Mark Myers, Garrett Day, Joel Bezet, and Andy Plauche. Honorary pallbearers will be Taylor and Trey Morgan, Brant, and Trey Rivet. Dustin was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He loved spending time with his children. Dustin's passion was offshore fishing, and he was a member of Tropical Gardens Hunting Club. He had a tool for any job, he was prepared for any type of situation, and he could fix any and everything.
