Emma Johnson Obituary

Johnson, Emma A resident of Zachary and native of Jackson, she died at 11:35 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, 2004, at Lane Memorial Hospital, Zachary. Religious service at Open Door Fellowship Life Center, Zachary, at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15, conducted by Apostle Leroy Banks. Dismissal at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Interment in Port Hudson National Cemetery. She is survived by six children and spouses, Floyd, Fluker and wife Sheila, Gertrude, Fannie May and Terry and wife Dedra Johnson and Belinda Fountain; five sisters, Daisy Smith and Patsy Judson, both of Zachary, Rosemary Lee and husband Robert, St Francisville and, Caroline Washington and Gloria Armstrong, both of Baton Rouge; two brothers, Edward Morris Jr., St. Francisville and T.W. Leathers, Baton Rouge; 29 grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by father, Edward Morris Sr.; mother, Gertrude Washington; two sisters, Mary Lou Travis and Virginia Morris; two brothers, Virgil Coleman and Thomas Morris; a daughter, Isabell Johnson; husband, Fluker Johnson; and two grandchildren, Richard and Lemond Johnson. Special thanks to Betty Lou and family. Miller & Daughter Mortuary, Zachary, in charge of arrangements.
