Emma Frances Underwood Louque

Emma Frances Underwood Louque passed away peacefully on January 14, 2023 at the age of 89. Though Frances was born in Dothan, Alabama and was raised in Florida, she was a long time resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Frances was a registered nurse and loved taking care of people. She enjoyed spending time with her family and working in her garden. Frances was known for her quick one liners and corny sense of humor. She is survived by her four children – Susan Louque, Jeanne Louque, Michael Louque and his wife Kathy Morgan, and Lisa Louque; her four grandchildren – Brandon Wilkins and his wife Jordyn Wilkins, Chad Wilkins and his wife Heather Wilkins, Lindsey Louque, and Ryan Louque and his fiancée Dakota Alphonso, and her four great-grandchildren – Trey Wilkins, Allie Wilkins, Beau Wilkins, and Demi Wilkins. She is preceded in death by her husband, Francis Louque, her parents – James Cader Underwood and Sarah Bena Underwood, her 7 brothers and 2 sisters, and great-granddaughter – Sawyer Grace Wilkins. A private family visitation and service will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 followed by a burial at Resthaven Funeral Home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
