Eugene Ledoux Sr.

Ledoux Sr., Eugene A retired custodian and resident of Baton Rouge, he died at 7 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2004, at his residence. He was 81 and a native of New Roads. Visiting at Verrette's Funeral Home, New Roads, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15. Religious service at St. Augustine Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, conducted by the Rev. John McBrearty, S.S.J. Interment in St. Augustine Cemetery. Survived by his wife, Mary Trina Ledoux; seven daughters and six brothers-in-law, Rosalie and Arthur Noflin Sr., Adele and Donald Eubanks, Jane and Brian Darensbourg, Mary Ann and Kenneth Millender Sr., Joyce Ledoux, Catherine and David Ventress Sr. and Veronica and Juan Magee Sr.; seven sons, Eugene Jr. and Ruthie Ledoux, Leroy Sr. and Juanita Ledoux, Alfred Sr. and Dorothy Ledoux, Walter Sr. and Valinda Ledoux, Lawrence Sr. and Linda Ledoux, Larry Ledoux Sr. and Anthony Ledoux; three sisters, Octavia Ell, Bernice Nelson and Rosezenia Griffin; a brother, Sam Watkins and wife Lovenia; 30 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his father, Eusabe Ledoux; mother, Stella Watkins; daughters, Theresa Ledoux and Shirley Mae Ledoux; and a grandson, Robert Dicks Jr. Pallbearers will be Alvarez J. Hertzock II, Lionel Forrest, Juan Magee Sr., Alfred Ledoux Jr., Walter Ledoux Jr. and Arthur Noflin Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Sam Watkins, Eugene Ledoux Jr., Walter Ledoux Sr., Alfred Ledoux Sr., Leroy Ledoux Sr., Lawrence Ledoux Sr., Anthony Ledoux, Larry Ledoux Sr., Donald Eubanks, Arthur L. Noflin Sr., Brian Darensbourg, Kenneth Millender Sr. and David Ventress Sr. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Baton Rouge.
