Did Gary attend Glen Oaks High School? I think he went to school with either my brother John "Tiny" Tourere or Marie Tourere. I am so sorry for your loss. I will let my sister, Marie, Know. I am pretty sure he went to school with her. I am sure she will want to be notified. Again, I am so sorry you lost your son.

Gary was our middle son and the third child born to us. He was a boy scout and sang in the choir. He was a happy, cheerful person and was loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and especially us, his parents.

The Truett Family, we are sorry to hear of your loss. It is always hard to lose one of your children, we think the parents should go first. That's not always God's plan. We love you and will be praying for you all . Annold and Betty

Bobby, Claudine & Family,
We are heartsick over your loss of Gary. We haven't seen him since he was just a boy but our memories of him and your family are so special. The summer we visited you and went to False River and caught fish from your dock is precious to us. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today and in the days ahead.

I remember you as Dida Lu since lil' sister Tammy could not say Gary. This has stuck forever since.

I feel I have lost a 'twin' even though we were 3 years apart. We always had a bond, knowing what each was feeling or thinking. I know that you are gone, however I feel you walking with me still, and I hope we forever will.

Will you check on Maw Maw and Margeau?

Our love will never end.

Maw Maw and Paw Paw Truett, words can not take the place of losing a child no matter how old, I can't imagine your pain, my heart goes out to you and the whole family. Gary was always, always very kind to me and TC. I havent seen him in years but I can still see him smiling at me he was so sweet and gentle, I am very glad to have known him.
TC is out of the country and will not be there Thursday but you are both in his thoughts and prayers at this very sad and difficult time.
We love you very much!

Tam-bird, I wish I was there to wrap my arms around you. I had so much fun growing up with the Truetts; what a loving awesome family. I know the loss of Gary is unbearable but ya'll are very blessed to be such a close family and have so many beautiful memories of him. My thoughts and prayers are with each and everyone of you.

He was my brother, but most of all a protector and friend. He had one of the biggest hearts of all and was full of compassion for people and animals. The songbirds and squirrels of Lake Rosemound will surely miss him as much as everyone else. He took pleasure in placing trails of seed out twice a day, then watching their antics through his glass sliding door. What a guy!

Gary was my friend, roommate, coworker and teacher. He taught me how to fish. I'll always remember the most important rule. "Always tie a slip knot." We will all miss him.
